Review of 'London Falling' by T.A. Foster

BOOK SUMMARY:

It’s London’s senior year and she only needs one class to graduate. She just didn’t expect her final assignment: fall in love.

Communication 224 has a reputation for giving out the most unique projects of the semester. When London James and Beau Anderson signed up for the class they had no idea they would be paired up together, much less spend an entire semester working on their final grade.

Professor Garcia tasks them to produce a study on the hit reality show, Love Match, a show about strangers falling in love on over the top dates. London and Beau decide to debunk the popular show’s fantasy portrayal of romance. Determined they can date the entire semester and not fall for each other, the classmates share blogs about their dates and start a website where everyone can follow their dating experiment. Resisting their growing attraction for one another is harder than they thought.

London is in for the toughest class of her college career. The headstrong and success-driven student discovers there might be more important things in life than an A.

**My thoughts**

I loved this book! I love the idea of a class project that attempts to debunk reality shows. I hate reality shows. I refuse to watch them. I have never believed in them and don't see how people could actually fall in love with fabricated dates and all of that pressure. Yet, in this book, it happens.

Yes, I know that this is a work of fiction. The author was the one holding the reins, who could decide which way it was going to go. But it felt quite real. I can totally see how two attractive people who do all of the things that these two do would end up falling in love. I also think it was easier for them to do so, because they weren't entertaining multiple prospects like on those other shows. I think even I developed a bit of a crush on Beau.

Beau is a man who knows what he wants. Yes, he seems to be your cliche Man Around Campus. He already has a popular blog, before embarking on this experiment. He plays a lot of sports and watches even more. He is gorgeous. Yet he doesn't seem to be a cocky bastard, which definitely works well in his favor.

London is also quite likable. She also knows what she wants out of life, and isn't afraid to go for it. She hasn't enjoyed life as much as she could have, prior to starting this experiment. She has an open mind and lets herself have fun.

The two of them have an awesome chemistry together. Their romance is spicy enough to keep you entertained, but without heavily detailed sex scenes to make some readers blush. Definitely worth checking out!
